Wendy, it's awesome! Freezing it does affect the texture of the sauce just a bit, but it still tastes fabulous. You can easily halve the recipe. Try this one. It's really not hard, and you will be very impressed with the results. I'm making it tomorrow for my birthday present to myself! LOL

so glad to find a recipe for big red ice cream! my aunt used to make this all the time when i was growing up. *side note: i'm originally from West, comma, Texas. we played groesbeck all the time in football. it was many moons ago, so i dont remember who won, but i know the band was really awesome! :D
